My name is Paul, and I am a land surveyor in SE QLD. I currently work for a small private firm on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.
I have an Associate Registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland.
I am a fully qualified web and graphic designer and in my younger years I worked in the signage and wide format printing industry, running and managing various print and graphic design teams.
In my early 30’s, I made a fairly significant career change and went back to study a spatial science degree at the University of Queensland, with a major in Surveying.
Since this career change, I have worked as a cadastral and construction survey chainman in the beginning, then went on to work for local government in rural Queensland as a Survey Cadet.
I have since moved on from this position into my current position, which allows me to do a large variety of work including Cadastral, detail, building format plans, re-instatements, volume calculations and much, much more..
In my spare time, I like to go bushwalking and camping. As a more recent hobby, I like to train Brazilian Jiu Jisu several times a week, with the goal of competing in a local tournament before the end of 2016. (Completed!)
I also play guitar in a number of bands of different styles and perform on stage on a regular basis.
